New BJP Office Complex Inaugurated In Guwahati

 

GUWAHATI: The new office complex of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Assam was inaugurated at Basistha, Guwahati by the National President of the party, JP Nadda and the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah in Guwahati today, October 8. 

The ceremony was also attended by the Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma; the state president of the party, Bhabesh Kalita along with the Union Minister and member of Central Parliamentary Board & Central Election Commission, Sarbananda Sonowal. 

It is to be noted that the construction of the new complex started in 2019 when Ranjeet Kumar Dass was the party president while Sarbananda Sonowal was the Chief Minister (CM) of Assam.

Speaking on the occasion, the senior BJP leader, Sarbananda Sonowal said, “We have always been inspired by the blessings and experience of the seniors in the party. The growing strength of the organisation along with the widespread popularity and acceptability of the party is because of the contribution of the seniors in the party. They will forever be our source of inspiration towards service and commitment to nation building.”

The event also saw participation by Dr Manik Saha, CM of Tripura along with many ministers, MPs, MLAs, leaders of BJP’s coalition partners, officer bearers and enthusiastic party workers.
