GUWAHATI: As NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) registered a 1-0 win over Hyderabad FC in the Hero-ISL at the GMC Balayogi Stadium on November 6, the highlanders now leads in the points table.
NEUFC’s win was all the more creditable as it saw its star striker Asamoah Gyan limp off the field on resumption after the break.
It is to be mentioned that this is NorthEast’s second win which has also has two draws in four games and has helped the team to climb to the top of the table with 8 points.
