GUWAHATI: In keeping with the new amended Motor Vehicles Act 2019, two police officials were fined by Nalbari police for not abiding to the prescribed laws.
Based on a tweet by Nalbari Police, traffic constable Jatin Das and home guard Arup Sharma were fined by Nalbari Traffic police for driving dangerously on the wrong side of the national highway.
The tweet also added, “Law is same for everyone in our eyes. We will not spare anyone doing wrong. Life is precious. Drive safe. Obey the law. @assampolice”
