GUWAHATI: A small aircraft from the Myanmar Army crashed within Lengpui Airport premise in Mizoram on Tuesday morning, resulting in injuries to six individuals on board.
The Mizoram Director General of Police (DGP) talking to media provided details of the incident saying that the ill-fated plane, carrying a total of 14 people, including the pilot, encountered difficulties during landing, leading to the crash. Immediate response teams were dispatched to the scene, where it was confirmed that six passengers sustained injuries while the remaining eight emerged unharmed.
Additionally, medical assistance was provided, and the injured individuals were transported to Lengpui Hospital for treatment.
According to media reports, currently, they are undergoing medical care to address the injuries sustained during the unfortunate event.
