MRI at Just Rs. 50 in Bangla Sahib Gurudwara of New Delhi

At a time when health has become the foremost concern of everybody and the expenses amounting thereof the biggest worry, the Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib at New Delhi have announced the opening of a diagnostic facility in its premises. 


What is to be noted about this upcoming diagnostic centre is that patients will have to pay Rs 150 for ultrasounds and Rs 50 for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan.

 
The facility is scheduled to become operative from December with an aim to provide an affordable diagnosis. While underprivileged persons will be able to undergo an MRI scan for Rs 50, the others will have to pay Rs 800 for the same. A complete dialysis will cost Rs 600 at the gurudwara.


Arvinder Singh Soni, chairman of liver transplant at Medanta and Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital said that the initiative intends to help people who do not have the necessary means to pay for expensive tests like an MRI.
