GUWAHATI: Guwahati and its adjoining areas are likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall in the days to come, as per the predictions of the Regional Meteorological Department.
Sources at the meteorology department also said that over the next five days, the weather will remain cloudy with chances of moderate rainfall and thunderstorms at isolated places in Assam.
According to the official website, on February 22-23 one or two spells of rain or thundershowers is likely on the cards in Guwahati. While on February 24-25 some places will see continuous rainfall.
It is to be mentioned that on February 18, Assam, including Guwahati witnessed moderate to heavy rainfall all throughout the region.
