GUWAHATI: A team from the Chandmari Police Station successfully dismantled a mobile theft ring during a recent operation.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two suspected thieves, identified as Raja Das and Chitra Das, both hailing from Dalgaon. Additionally, one individual suspected of receiving stolen goods, Ingtu Bodo from Sivasagar, was also apprehended as part of the operation.
The operation unfolded with a targeted raid conducted in the Gandhi Basti area last night, ultimately leading to the arrests. During the raid, law enforcement authorities were able to recover four stolen mobile phones.

Authorities have taken immediate legal action in this case, in a move towards curbing mobile theft in the region.
