GUWAHATI: IAS MN Dahal has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC). Dahal is currently posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar.
Further, present GMC Commissioner IAS Debasish Sharma has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Morigaon and Joint Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhavan, Mumbai (Additional).
This was stated in an official notification issued on Friday, August 19.
