GUWAHATI: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has denied any probe against the four Assamese editors and a news channel based on a complaint by Legal Rights Observatory (LRO).
According to reports, an MHA spokesperson denied having ordered any inquiry on four journalists based in Assam, however, a letter came to a public grievance portal of the Central government which was later forwarded to the Assam government without making any comments.

The LRO had lodged the complaint on February 14 seeking a probe into the role of the four media houses, which the former alleged, were spreading militant ideologies.
