GUWAHATI: A mild earthquake jolted Assam and neighbouring states of the northeast on October 7.
As per reports, tremors were felt across the northeast-in Guwahati, Shillong, Imphal, Churachandpur and Thoubal in Manipur. However, National Centre for Seismology and the Indian Metrological Department is yet to issue any statement and the orign of the tremor.
No damage or casualties have been reported so far.
