GUWAHATI: A massive landslide took place at the Nilachal Hills on the way to the Kamakhya temple today.
As per source, two residences have been destroyed causing property loss worth several lakhs.
District administrative authorities have reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
“The monsoon season has arrived and we call upon all residents to take precautionary measures during the coming months,” said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup (Metro) Pulak Mahanta.
