GUWAHATI: A massive fire broke out in Arya Nagar in Guwahati, around 11 AM, with eyewitnesses reporting 7–8 cylinder blasts at the scene.

The fire erupted near the Labour Office, opposite Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati according to officials from the Fire Department.
While talking to GPlus, a Fire Department official said, “Six fire tenders are currently at the site, working to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.”
