GUWAHATI: A massive fire broke out earlier today at 4th APBn at Kahilipara.
The fire according to initial reports has been caused due to short circuit, however, locals claim that the fire was caused due to bursting of crackers.
While the Fire and Emergency Services Department were quick to respond and rushed to the spot to get the situation under control, a few houses have been completely gutted by the fire.
Additionally, a few deaths have been reported, however, the actual casualty is yet to be ascertained.
