GUWAHATI: The 5 time World Championship gold medallist Mary Kom assured herself of another medal after she defeated China’s Wu Yu, 5-0 in the light flyweight (48kg) category to qualify for the semi-finals at the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships.
She will next face North Korea’s Kim Hyang Mi in the semis. Mary Kom is just 2 wins away from her 6th world title.
