GUWAHATI: A 47-year-old man, lost his life in a wild elephant attack in Lalabari of Assam’s Goalpara district, on Thursday, February 20. He is identified as Montu Rava.

Speaking to Gplus, an official from Mornoi police station said, “ Three wild elephants entered the village in search of food and stormed into a man’s house. While attempting to escape, he was attacked and killed on the spot.”
Local police were alerted to the incident and rushed to the scene. The body was recovered and sent for post-mortem examination.
