GUWAHATI: A team from Jalukbari arrested a man from Palashbari on Sunday, December 1, for attempting to steal a vehicle.

The suspect, identified as Robiul Islam, was apprehended after the police team spotted him trying to drive off with the stolen vehicle. He was immediately taken into custody.
During questioning, the police discovered that Islam had been involved in multiple thefts in the area. Further investigation revealed that he had previously stolen two bikes from the Garigaon locality.
Further investigation is ongoing.
