Based on the inputs provided by the Inspector General of Delhi Police, Robin Hibu, and the details mentioned on her passport, the locals of Merabil under Assam’s Udalguri have no knowledge of anyone by the name of Neha Sharma .

It is to be mentioned that as per the affidavit, submitted by Neha Sharma, at Noida in Uttar Pradesh when she was 33 years old, she had left to Israel to get engaged in a caregiver’s job.

According to the documents available, Neha Sharma was born on July 16, 1980 and her passport was registered as L637541 and it clearly mentions that, she was born in Merabil in Assam.

The Administration of Merabil is now confused as in how she managed to get a birth certificate from the local Primary Health Centre and how the police verification of her identity was verified while issuing the Indian passport.
