GUWAHATI: A leopard was spotted near Kamakhya’s ‘Temple Ghat’ area in Pandu by the banks of Brahmaputra river this afternoon, May 13 by some PWD workers who were busy in the construction work of the new road leading to Kamakhya temple.

The animal has not attacked anybody so far and forest officials have been informed about his presence in the area. The officials are yet to reach the spot, while the leopard was seen roaming freely in the area.
