GUWAHATI: With the detection of COVID-19 positive patients at Etabhata in Dhirenpara, Sankar Nagar in Odalbakra, Bamunpara in Betkuchi’s Damodar Nagar, Colony Bazar in Kahilipara, Dhirenpara-III, Santi Nagar in Kahilipara, Latasil, Athgaon - III & IV, Gajen Kalita Path in Kumarpara, Bimala Nagar in Bishnupur, Maligaon Rest Camp, Bshnupur - III, Ferry Ghat Colony, Gopinath Nagar in Birupari - I & II, Deben Sarma Road in Bishnupur, Ashram Road in Ulubari, K.C. Sen Road in Paltan Bazaar, A.K. Azad Road in Rehabari, the given localities have been marked as containment zones by the district administration of Kamrup Metro.

Further, since no positive case has been detected in Dhirenpara, Bishnupur in Krishnanagar and Pub-Sarania, the Containment Zone orders of these places have been withdrawn.
All these orders are made under the regulations the Assam COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and shall be effective from 15 June, 2020 until further notice.
Any violation of this order will attract action under the provisions of The Assam COVID-19 Regulations, 2020, The Disaster Management Act-2005, The Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and other relevant laws of the nation.
