GUWAHATI: In a notification by the Governer of Assam, Kumar Sanjay Krishna, IAS has been appointed as the Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Assam on December 24.
It is to be mentioned that the current Chief Secretary, Alok Kumar will be retiring on superannuation on December 31.
Earlier, Sanjay Krishna was serving as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Home, Political, Revenue & Disaster Management, Information & Public Relation and Printing & Stationery Departments.
