While the arrangement offers much-needed shelter to the affected families, it has also sparked discontent among the school authorities.

The school’s principal expressed frustration over the disruption caused by the relief operations, stating that the institution had to shut down for two days to accommodate the victims.

Talking to GPlus, Marami Bora, principal of the school said, "We have a Mock-Test for Gunotsov scheduled next Tuesday. For that we have been facing some problem. Hopefully they will be moved to different place by tomorrow."

The Kharghuli pipe burst, which occurred on January 2, caused extensive damage to homes and forced several residents to evacuate. Around 28 families were left affected in the aftermath, among which four families were compensated with ₹1.2 lakh by the Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs.
