Kamrup (Metro) District Signs MoUs Worth ₹385.37 Crore At Advantage Assam 2.0

GUWAHATI: Kamrup (Metro) District Administration facilitated the signing of multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) today on February 25 at the Kar Bhavan in Ganeshguri, Guwahati. This was done as a part of the Advantage Assam 2.0 which started today.

On behalf of the district administration, Parijat Bhuyan, District Development Commissioner, signed the MoUs with various business enterprises and industrial firms to strengthen local industries and commercial ventures. Among the key participants were M/s Daivik, M/s Cheraugi Reals Pvt. Ltd., M/s Omshree Product, and M/s First Pro Pvt. Ltd., along with a total of 76 agreements signed during the event.

Kamrup Metro currently hosts 219 projects, including:
-12 projects exceeding ₹50 crore,
-207 projects below ₹50 crore
.

Under the newly signed agreements, ₹385.37 crore will be invested across various sectors, boosting the district’s industrial and economic landscape.

Additionally, the live telecast of the inauguration of Advantage Assam 2.0 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Khanapara, Guwahati, was displayed at the event.

The signing ceremony saw the presence of Umesh Kumar, General Manager of the District Industries and Commerce Department, along with officials from the district administration, industry representatives, and investors.
