Kamrup (Metro) DC Office To Operate On E-office Mode From May 2

 

GUWAHATI: A notice has been issued in the public's interest as per the direction of the Government of Assam, which states that all the branches of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (Metro) District, Guwahati will be operating in e-office mode w.e.f 02/05/2023. 

The general public and stakeholders have been requested, to conveniently send their petitions, and prayers of different service-related requests in digital format through the designated e-mail ID: e-office-dckamrupm@assam.gov.in.

The S.O.P states and generalizes the protocol as follows:
1. The following category of files will be exempted from the e-file system vide No. e-file No. 174981/44 dtd. 31/03/2023. A) Court case matters, B) Departmental Proceedings. C) Confidential Matter and D) Election Office, Kamrup Metro vide letter No. ELE.26/2019/317 dtd. 13/04/2023. 

2. The DIO, NIC, Kamrup Metropolitan District, and his team will be the custodian of the e-mail ID designated for the public and stakeholders for digital submission of their petitions, prayers of different service-related requests in digital format through the following dedicated e-mail ID: e-officedckamrupm@assam.gov.in. This team will download all the digital submissions on an hourly basis and distribute them to the different respective branches and amalgamated establishments in their respective e-mail without fail and uninterrupted manner. 

3. All branches and amalgamated establishment of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Office, Kamrup Metropolitan District will have their respective e-mail and one branch Nodal Staff from among the Senior and Junior Assistants and one NIC Staff to receive respective digital submissions from the public and stakeholder as forwarded by the DIO, NIC team to their respective e-mail and generate it to their own respective branch and amalgamated establishment for the e-office process. 

4. All the Circle Offices under Kamrup Metropolitan District vize A) Azara Revenue Circle, B) Chandrapur Revenue Circle, C) Dispur Revenue Circle, D) Guwahati Revenue Circle, and E) Sonapur Revenue Circle will designate one N odal Staff from among the Senior and Junior Assistants to download all the digital petitions and other service-related e-mail from the district headquarter to their Circle Office to process the same in the e-office in the respective Circle Office without fail and uninterrupted manner.  

5. For the interest of the public and stakeholders, manual receipt of petitions and prayers of different service-related requests will also be available as usual at Central Receipt Section located at the ground floor of O / o the Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Metro, Hengrabari, Guwahati-36. And all the branch Senior and Junior Assistants under the guidance of Branch Nodal Staff and NIC Staff will scan those manually receipt petitions and documents and carry out e-office mode.
