Kamrup (M) Reports Increase in COVID-19 Cases

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Secretary, Kumar Sanjay Krishna, has asked people to continue with all the preventive measures of COVID-19 as the numbers of cases have increased slightly on August 3.

The state registered 2,371 cases yesterday out of which 414 have been reported from Kamrup Metro. 

“#Covid19 factsheet Assam as of 3rd August, 2020. There is a slight increase in the number of the cases in Kamrup (M), so would like to urge everyone to continue taking all the preventive measures and staying safe,” the Chief Secretary wrote in his tweet.

Notably, the government of Assam has achieved conducting one million COVID-19 tests since February 2020.
