GUWAHATI: Sumit Sattawan, the recently appointed Kamrup (Metro) District Commissioner, is set to launch a public grievance redressal initiative aimed at addressing citizen concerns promptly on December 15.
Taking charge on December 6, Sattawan plans to personally engage with the public at the Dispur Revenue Circle Officer's Office, Basistha Chariali, on December 17, starting at 9:30 AM.
In a recent meeting with officers and staff, Commissioner Sattawan emphasised the need for swift resolution of public demands and objections. The directive aims to streamline services and ensure citizens receive timely assistance without the need for multiple office visits.
The district administration under Sattawan is committed to expediting processes, eliminating unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles, and facilitating efficient service delivery to the public.
