GUWAHATI: In light of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kaziranga National Park along with other VVIPs, the Jeep Safari and Elephant rides will remain closed from March 7 to March 9.

This has been put out in an official notification on March 3 by the office of the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) under the Assam Government.

The Jeep Safari at Kaziranga Range and Kohora will be temporarily closed from March 7 to March 9 (forenoon).
The Elephant Ride will remain closed from March 8 to March 9 given the above conditions.
The order also states that apart from the above-mentioned ranges the Jeep Safari and Elephant rides will remain operational as usual.
