GUWAHATI: Zubeen Garg has appealed to Actor Jatin Bora to resign from Bharatiya Janata Party to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
Bora is currently chairman of state government-run Assam State Film Finance Development Corporation.
Garg said, “Jatin joined BJP and took a job, he should have resigned opposing CAB.”

He was responding to a question on the alleged silence of Bora on CAB.
“I appeal everybody to come out and protest against the Bill. Recently, I have joined hands with the students in the protest against the bill at Cotton University and I will continue my protest against the controversial bill,” Zubeen told reporters on Sunday, December 08.
