GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Police arrested a manager of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Birendra Kumar Jha on Wednesday, August 31, for allegedly concealing his identity, sending mails to the head office of IOCL and sharing some confidential information.
According to a police official of the Noonmati Police Station (PS), Jha created a fake email ID for his personal interest, and started sending mails to the head office, sharing some confidential information. The IOCL authority had filed an FIR at the police station in this regard.
The Officer-in-Charge of Noonmati Police Station told G Plus, "We investigated the matter and arrested him yesterday. He was produced to the court and has been sent to jail."
