Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts book reading session on ‘The Rainbow Chaser’

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA)- North East Regional Centre organized a book reading cum interactive session with young author of the state Jitendra Deka on 10th May last at their regional office in Uzanbazar. 

Renowned filmmaker and writer Dilip Kumar Hazarika was the Chairperson of the event. Author of the short story anthology "The Rainbow Chaser", Jitendra Deka, on this occasion addressed the audience and interacted with his fellow readers in the topics like -- creative literature and motivation in the field of writing. 

In the post reading period, the author who is also a post graduate student of Assam Engineering College expressed his views in the burning problems of the state and the scope of literature in tackling those. In their humble effort, IGNCA expressed interest in organising different literary events in near future in all across the region.
