GUWAHATI: The Assam Government has increased the prices of Indian-made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in the state by 65 percent. In a notification issued by the Excise Department of Assam dated June 2, the prices have been increased for selected categories of IMFL.
The increase is effective for Rum, Brandy, Whiskey, Gin, Liquor Cordials and other similar alcoholic products produced in India.
It is important to note that the price revision will come in effect from June 15, 2022
