Guwahati: Acting on a tip-off, a police team headed by Binay Kalita seized a truck bearing registration number TN-52-B/2133 from Betkuchi and recovered illegally carrying Phensedyl.
The truck was seized at NH-31 while travelling from West Bengal towards Agartala.
Police has also apprehended three persons, viz. Mohammad Rafi (42), H. Fazzalu Amed (38) and A.S Bakruddin (39) in connection with the incident.
