GUWAHATI: Mumbai Police has arrested a 50-year-old man with drugs worth Rs 1 crore in Bandra on Friday, November 22.
The accused has been identified as Dr Reza Borhani, husband of former Assam-born-actress and Model Tora Khasgir.
Borhani was nabbed by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Crime Branch with a huge quantity of high-end synthetic party drug, ‘LSD’.
He is the founder of Cannabis Health and Sciences Private Limited and is suspected to be a part of an interational drug racket which smuggles LSD from Europe to India.
Meanwhile, no role of Khasgir has been identified in this case.
Born in Nagaon, she was a reknown supermodel from Assam, who was crowned the first runner-up at Miss Guwahati beauty pageant in 1993.
