Hit-And-Run On Guwahati’s Six-Mile Flyover Leaves Pedestrian Injured

GUWAHATI: A hit-and-run incident occurred late Tuesday night, February 25 on the Six Mile flyover in Guwahati, leaving a pedestrian injured.

A four-wheeler was speeding in the wrong direction when it crashed into two other vehicles, causing severe damage. The out-of-control vehicle also hit a parked scooter before colliding with a pedestrian, injuring him.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical care.

The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled immediately after the accident. 

Talking to GPlus, a senior traffic official from Dispur police station said, “The car hit another car and a scooter on which a person was sitting. He got injured in the accident.”

Further investigations are underway.
