GUWAHATI: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) legislator Aminul Islam has filed a complaint against Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for streaming his speech using Facebook Live during the Special session of the Assembly.
It may be mentioned here that, in 2017 the AIUDF legislator Aminul Islam was suspended from the house for three days for streaming live his speech on Facebook from inside the Assembly and later had submitted a written apology for his conduct
The AIUDF MLA streamed live his speech on the contentious illegal Bangladeshi migrant issue on Facebook in 2017 while this time Himanta Biswa did the same on when he spoke on Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).
Islam has reportedly filed a complaint against Sarma to the Assam Assembly speaker Hitendra Nath Goswami.
