GUWAHATI: Dhing Express Hima Das has won her fifth gold of the month as she made her comeback in the 400m competition with a season-best time of 52.09s on Saturday, July 20 in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic.
This is Das’s fifth gold medal since July 2, when she ran her first competitive race in Europe.
Earlier she won gold at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland on July 2, the Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland on July 7, the Kladno Athletics Meet in Czech Republic on July 13 and at the Tabor Athletics Meet in Czech Republic for the 200 m competitive race.
It should be noted that this is Das’s first competition in 400m after she struggled to finish the Asian Athletics Championship earlier this year because of a back issue.
