GUWAHATI: The Higher Secondary examination is underway in 772 centres across Assam with additional security to avoid any form of malpractice.
This year, altogether 1,75,175 students in Arts stream, 40,588 in Science stream and 18,178 in Commerce stream would appear for the Class 12 Board examinations.
A total of 23 jammers are reportedly installed in 25 sensitive examination centres in Assam.

It is to be mentioned that three-layered security arrangements have been put into place by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) including CCTV cameras, jammers and a full-fledged cyber cell.
