GUWAHATI: The police seized a substantial quantity of suspected heroin in Nagaon on November 27.
The operation, carried out by a team of Nagaon Police, led by OC Batadrava PS, resulted in the discovery of five containers filled with what is believed to be heroin.
The authorities acted on credible information, leading them to the location where the illicit substances were concealed.
Three individuals have been apprehended in connection with the operation and are currently in police custody. The arrested suspects will face legal consequences as the investigation progresses.
Nagaon Police took to X to put out, “A Nagaon Police team led by OC Batadrava PS conducted an Anti Narcotics Operation and recovered 5 Nos of Containers filled with Suspected Heroin. Three accused arrested for further Legal Action.”
