GUWAHATI: A 10-day extension for team and player registrations for the 70th Bharat Ratna Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Trophy has been announced. The new deadline is set for January 5, 2025, 5 PM.

The decision to extend the registration period was conveyed through an official notice issued on Thursday, December 26, by the committee's Chairman, Devajit Saikia. However, it was firmly stated that no further extensions would be granted beyond the revised deadline.
The Bordoloi Trophy, one of India’s oldest and celebrated football tournaments, has long been a platform for showcasing talent. With this year marking its 70th edition, the event is expected to draw significant attention, both from fans and the sporting community.
