GUWAHATI: A woman was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight at the Pinaki Path, Zoo Road, Guwahati on August 25.

Two people robbed the victim who has been identified as Rani Borkotoky, wife of Debo Borkotoky, owner of a renowned production company.
She was reportedly assaulted during her morning walk.
The attackers reportedly wield a pistol and forcibly snatched her gold chain, leaving her with serious head injuries.
A case has been registered at the Geetanagar police station, but the culprits are still at large.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from the Geetanagar police station said, “We are investigating the matter, but have not arrested anyone as of yet.”
