GUWAHATI: A woman was allegedly stabbed on Sunday Night, September 8 in front of Bishnu Mandir in Beltola area of the city.
The victim has been identified as Anima Begum.
Based on reports, Begum sustained multiple injuries and was taken to a city hospital, following which she was transferred to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

It has also been reported that she and her ex-husband, Lakhya Kalita, had a heated argument that same day and police authorities have registered a case against Kalita.
