GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board has announced an interruption in water supply on Thursday, June 6, affecting several areas including Ramsahill, Kharghuli Hill, and Silpukhuri.

The disruption impacts DMAs RH001, RH002, and RH006, and is due to ongoing maintenance work on the transmission main pipeline.
The maintenance, initially expected to be completed within a set timeframe, faced delays due to heavy rainfall and the presence of underground rock formations.
