GUWAHATI: An unidentified body of a man was discovered near the construction site of the Brahmaputra Riverfront View project in Uzanbazar on Monday afternoon, around 2:45 PM.

Locals noticed the man lying motionless and promptly alerted the authorities. Speaking to GPlus, an official from the Latasil Police Station stated, “We were informed about the incident by the locals. On arrival, we discovered that the man had no vitals. The identity has not been ascertained, and preliminary investigations suggest he was a street dweller."
The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Further details are awaited as investigations continue.
