GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Police apprehended two mobile snatchers after a dramatic chase through the streets of Basistha. The incident unfolded at Koinadhora parking point on Thursday afternoon, June 27, when a victim's mobile phone was forcibly taken by two suspects on a motorcycle.

The Eastern Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Basistha Police Station acted upon receiving the alert. They identified the snatchers' bike, a two-wheeler, and engaged in a pursuit.
The chase culminated in the arrest of the suspects, identified as Md Rafiqul Ali, also known as Tikla, aged 19, and Md Rafiqul Hussain, aged 24. Both individuals are residents of Satgaon.

The stolen mobile phone was recovered, and the suspects' bike was seized as evidence. The Guwahati Police have initiated legal action against the apprehended individuals.
