GUWAHATI: In a recent breakthrough, a team from the Jalukbari Police Outpost successfully dismantled a gang of thieves in a late-night operation, leading to the arrest of three suspects. The detainees were identified as Uday Das (23) hailing from Bijoy Nagar, Dipankar Das (24) and Dipak Das (22), both residents of Palashbari.
The operation, carried out by the Jalukbari Police team, culminated in the recovery of two bags filled with stolen items with an estimated worth of ₹50,000. The arrested individuals are currently facing legal action for their involvement in the theft.
Taking to X, Guwahati Police stated, “A WGPD team from Jalukbari OP busted a gang of thieves after it arrested Uday Das (23) of Bijoy Nagar, Dipankar Das (24) & Dipak Das (22), both from Palashbari, last night. 2 bags of stolen items, worth ₹50,000/-, were recovered from their possession. Legal action initiated.”
