GUWAHATI: The Basistha Police has interrogated the son and daughter-in-law of an elderly after the mysterious death of a 62-year-old woman at her apartment.

Earlier, Rina Das was found dead with injury marks in the bathroom of her apartment in Shiv Path, Pilinkata, which falls under the Basistha Police Station of Guwahati.
The 62-year-old woman lived on the first floor of her apartment with her son and daughter-in-law on the ground floor.
However, the motive of robbery has been rejected as no items were found missing in the apartment. As such the Police have started interrogating the son and the daughter-in-law.
This was confirmed to G Plus by Basistha Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Partha Gogoi. "We have brought the son and the daughter-in-law for interrogation. The robbery angle has been sidelined as there has been nothing stolen," Gogoi told G Plus.
