GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Smart City Limited (GSCL) has given immediate priority to three projects namely, the Brahmaputra Riverfront Development project, the Deepor Beel development project and Smart Electric Lighting of Guwahati roads.
All these projects will be carried out in a phased manner.
It is to be mentioned that under the Brahmaputra Riverfront Development project, a walkway, cycle track and jogging track will be developed along the full riverfront from the Raj Bhawan to Kamakhya Temple.

Similarly, as per the Smart Electric Lighting of Guwahati roads project, a total of 135 roads in the city would be covered.
Under the Deepor Beel development project, a watchtower site is proposed to be set up for which the State Forest Department is yet to issue the clearance certificate.
