GUWAHATI: The 14th match of the Guwahati Premier Football League (GPFL) played between Assam Police and Pride East Mavericks (PEM) at Judges' Field, Guwahati on December 20 ended in a goalless draw.
An intense first half turned into a one-sided game towards the end for the Assam Police team. However, PEM managed to withstand the onslaught.
The player of the match was awarded to Bilson Daimary from Assam Police for his aggressive attacking play. Daimary was honoured with a trophy and ₹2100 in cash for his outstanding performance.
Moving ahead, football spectators can brace themselves for an exciting clash between Food Corporation of India and North East United FC on December 21 at 2:45 PM followed by a face-off between Northeast Frontier Railway SA and GPlus Athletic at 5 PM, both at Judges' Field.
