GUWAHATI: A pre-mature baby’s body was found in a dustbin at KRB Road in the Kumarpara area of Guwahati at around 12 PM in the afternoon today on February 6.
The foetus was reportedly spotted by nearby shopkeepers who had gone there to dump trash, when they saw a dog tearing the plastic bag in which the baby was dumped.

The Bharalumukh Police Station was subsequently informed who retrieved the body and sent it to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Speaking to GPlus, a police official from the Bharalumukh Police Station confirmed the incident and said, “The dead foetus was found in a dustbin at KRB Road today. We have sent the foetus to GMCH for medical examination.”
