GUWAHATI: Guwahati police officials will be increasing their presence across the city with intensified patrolling and security measures amid Uruka and Magh Bihu celebrations.

A traffic official from the Paltan Bazar police station told GPlus, "Routine patrolling and checkpoint inspections will be conducted throughout the city."
