GUWAHATI: Another incident of pipe leak was reported from Kalyanpur near Ganeshguri, on Thursday.
According to reports, the incident occurred at 1:30 PM
Speaking to GPlus, a local from Kalyanpur Umesh Yadav said, "These pipes were laid down recently and the leakage has already started."
“It is the JICA pipes which have been laid down recently by the Guwahati Jal Board,” claimed a resident.
Speaking on this, an official from Guwahati Jal Board has stated that the pipe laying works are going on in some areas of Ganeshguri and they are conducting some tests to check for faulty pipelines which is known as fuzzing, and this led to the leakage.
However, the issue was immediately attended to by the Jal board and they sent the men to repair it, as per reports.
